 Note

The best results can be obtained if your melody:

b. contents not less than 4 bars.
c. consists of not less than seven different degrees of musical scale.
d. is written in the only musical key.

Auto accompaniment

The program creates accompaniment to a tune automatically as if it musician does, for example, playing chords for a song by ear.
To do this, e-Xpressor parses a loaded melody, recognizes key, in which music is written, and creates a chord progression for accompaniment, using classical rules of harmony.
e-Xpressor does not demand special musical knowledge from you such as the note names, keys, chords, as well as understanding their functions and interrelations in music. A finished tune is only required from you.

 Notes
a. As any tune can be harmonized by different ways, e-Xpressor creates three kinds of chords progressions as accompaniment. The Draft I harmony is offered as default.
b. The result will be better if you take the intelligent and completed part of composition, instead of its broken piece. For example, if you load whole couplet of song or couplet together with a refrain.
c. If e-Xpressor can not select the best chord for a bar, it can be selected by ear, for example, from the Other list box.

You can also
Choose Create command from the Accompaniment menu.
Choose different kind of harmonization from the Harmony menu, for instance Draft II or Draft III.
Process your melody in parts. The result may be better.
